This picture was taken in one of my apartments. This was back when I didn't have roommates. Cam Clay, my co-worker at the time, wanted to do a test photo shoot to practice and develop his craft. Although the shoot was done in a small apartment, his editing style makes it look such high quality.
This picture is the second product of the apartment shoot Cam Clay and I did. Again, the setting was very meager, and the lighting was simple. That being said, his editing really brought out the seductive look of this picture. This also challenged me to take on a new kind of pose!
Laundry Day Smile
This picture was taken during a promotional photo shoot for the event Laundry Day, which took place on Friday, January 20, 2017. I performed alongside Dara Carter and K Sarai. The event was organized and hosted by DNT (DopeNorTeria). Jiele and Jordan Washington emceed for the night, and Chad "DJ Lachii" North kept the vibe on the turntables. It was a great night!
During the video shoot for a remake of the song "Them Changes" by Thundercat, one of my friends caught this candid picture. It was placed in black and white for added dramatic affect. The location of this shoot took place at the legendary Glow in the Dark Studio of Atlanta. This famous location has housed records by Aretha Franklin, Prince, Stevie Wonder, and so many more. I feel honored to have been in the same space as so many creatives making memories with the creatives of the future.
I took this photo one weekend with Atlanta photographer Scotty Blase. This particular weekend I wanted to get candid photos, but when asked about doing a pool shoot I jumped at the opportunity. It was a lot of fun, and I felt so sexy, especially after seeing this picture!
